The dual objective of What Water is to raise awareness, advocating human rights and culture as means of communication while raising funds to support concrete actions on the ground and give access to clean water.
The dual objective of What Water is to raise awareness, advocating human rights and culture as means of communication while raising funds to support concrete actions on the ground and give access to clean water.
In less than three years of existence, What Water has already impacted the lives of 260,000 people, with 10,000 daily users across Cameroon through the construction of 9 water points. Since then, 10 additional projects have been launched and will be implemented again in partnership with various local municipalities.
Access to clean water is a crucial element for rural economic growth. What Water aims to reach 8 million people by 2030, in support of the United Nations and their Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 6 "Clean Water and Sanitation" and 17 "Global Partnerships for Sustainable Development").
We raise funds through our network of institutional organizations, businesses, and committed artists. The promotion of artworks also helps support our community of dedicated artists, who receive 50% of the proceeds in the event of a sale.
