The ACFL is a movement within the Catholic Church of Luxembourg. Its purpose is based on the faith commitment and Christian witness of its members. The ACFL aims to support its members in their personal commitment by offering religious, cultural, educational, advisory and recreational activities.
The structures of the ACFL – also known as the association of Fraen a Mamme vu Lëtzebuerg are organised in two ways: on the one hand, it is managed from the grassroots level up to the national body, and on the other hand, it is managed in the opposite direction, from the national managers to the members of the deaneries and sections. The ACFL is managed by the national committee, which is made up of representatives from the various deaneries, representatives from the ACFL's specialised groups, delegates to other associations, members of the board of directors and spiritual advisors.
