Since its creation in 2010, CELL has been creating and supporting local and regional ecological and social transition projects, such as community gardens, third places, Repair Cafés, eco-social entrepreneurship and energy cooperatives.
Our mission:
REFLECT AND INNOVATE
CELL creates spaces for reflection and exchange, enabling citizens to express their ideas and develop ambitious actions, and designs innovative models that demonstrate that a world that is more respectful of life is possible.
INFORM AND RAISE AWARENESS
CELL conducts information and awareness campaigns to raise collective awareness of the climate emergency in order to motivate citizens to commit to ecology in our territories.
MOBILISE AND ACT
CELL encourages and supports local citizen transition initiatives. CELL integrates a participatory dimension into all its projects, allowing as many people as possible to get involved.
STRENGTHEN AND TRAIN
CELL runs workshops and training courses open to all and distributes practical tools to increase public knowledge about ecological transition. It also aims to strengthen the capacities of key individuals in local communities, schools, eco-social organisations, community gardens and local transition groups.
L’arbre qui cache la forêt (déi Wëll, déi lafen am Bësch), un projet poétique et politique évolutif explorant la place de l’arbre dans notre société, en tant que sujet, habitat et écosystème. Ce vaste programme, ancré dans le réel et l’imaginaire, vise à défier nos manières de penser et à réinventer notre lien au vivant, afin de donner collectivement vie à des actions écologiques au Luxembourg.
