The aim of Jazz Forum Luxembourg is to develop and promote the practice, listening and awareness of jazz, for students and enthusiasts of all ages, as well as by extension, all activities and events which relate to musical life and socio-cultural events around elements relating to jazz.

Presentation of our organisation

JFL invites renowned jazz artists to perform in Luxembourg. The artist gives a Masterclass to students of the International School of Luxembourg (ISL), passing on his experience and techniques. Two concerts then take place in a public place transformed into a "jazz club" for the occasion: a first concert during which different "jazz bands" of ISL students play jazz standards in front of friends and family and a second concert, open to all audiences, during which the guest artist performs. All of it happens in a relaxed atmosphere in the middle of jazz lovers and is set up by volunteers from the JFL, a non-for-profit organisation set up by teachers and parents from the ISL.
