openEHR Luxembourg is promoting openEHR and its use, with the aim to increase health data quality in Luxembourg, and facilitate the reuse of that data. These changes should contribute to make patient care better, safer and easier to share data for medical research.
The purpose of the Association is to promote the use of openEHR and the integration of tools based on, or using, openEHR. The aim is to improve the quality of health data produced in Luxembourg and make it easier to share and reuse this data. These improvements should help to provide better healthcare for the population and support medical research.
To achieve this purpose, the Association may, among other things (this is not an exhaustive list):
* Organise training sessions, events and communication campaigns to explain openEHR, its benefits, how it is used, and practical examples of its use in Luxembourg and internationally;
* Build and maintain a community that shares information, knowledge and experience about openEHR, helping to encourage its adoption and strengthen links between community members;
* Connect openEHR users and beneficiaries with other members of the international openEHR community;
* Promote international events related to openEHR;
* Provide guidance and advice to the Luxembourg community on the use of openEHR;
* Promote the inclusion of openEHR in healthcare good practice and standards in Luxembourg;
* Establish and support the activities of the **openEHR Luxembourg Affiliate**.
