PMD is a music association with a rich heritage that has helped shape the cultural life of the town of Diekirch since 1868. With a diverse repertoire, varied concert projects, and a strong commitment to fostering young talent, PMD bridges the gap between tradition and modernity. The sense of community remains at the very heart of the organization.
The Diekirch Municipal Concert Band and its 'Juniors' ensemble offer high-quality concert band performances. Furthermore, over the Pentecost weekend, the PMD hosts a Beer Festival.
