Respect.lu is Luxembourg’s centre against radicalisation and has three missions: to provide information and raise awareness about radicalisation; to support the social environment of radicalised individuals (family, friends, school, work, etc.); and to assist radicalised individuals in their deradicalisation process.
As a centre against radicalisation in Luxembourg, respect.lu addresses all forms of radicalisation: political extremism (e.g. right-wing and left-wing extremism), religious extremism (e.g. Islamism, radical Christianity, sects, etc.) and thematic radicalisation, such as that observed in connection with the Covid pandemic. We work primarily with radicalised individuals themselves and those around them, but we also carry out awareness-raising and educational work aimed at the general public. This is where we also intend to focus our voluntary work.
