Promote the association at public events, provide information to visitors, and raise awareness about dementia and the services offered.
Regular mission
The volunteer supports the team at information booths set up at senior fairs, expos, themed days, and other public events in which the association participates.
The volunteer welcomes visitors, approaches them, briefly introduces the association and its services, and provides them with brochures and other informational materials. As needed, the volunteer may also help set up and take down the booth.
We are looking for an open-minded, empathetic, and outgoing person who is comfortable interacting with the public and who is not afraid to approach others and strike up a conversation. The association provides training to help volunteers acquire basic knowledge about dementia as well as about the association and its services.
Fluency in Luxembourgish and French is required; German is a plus.
