Guillaume Tell Stroossen
Guillaume Tell Strassen is an archery club affiliated with the "Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Tir à l’Arc".
Active (hands-on physical activity) support to catering and event logistics operations for an intl. archery tournament with 450 participants, including food preparation, food and beverage service, clean-up, and related activities.
From 20-22 November 2026, GTS hosts an international archery competition, with 600 participants over 3 days. As all GTS staff are volunteers, support is needed for catering and event logistics operations in the kitchen, bar and dining area. The main areas of activity are food preparation, food service, and clean-up.
Volunteers are welcome on any of the three days from 09:00 onwards. We request that volunteers plan to be present for at least 4-6 hours. For volunteers with prior culinary experience who are able to be present for at least 8 hours on all three days, we are happy to discuss financial compensation.
Induction, training and support will be provided, as well as any equipment and protective clothing (aprons, gloves etc.). Food and drink will be provided. Volunteers are requested to wear closed, comfortable shoes, and comfortable clothing, e.g. athletic wear. Parking at the venue is not possible due to the amount of archers in attendance.
