Tourist Center Clervaux
Visit Clervaux promotes local heritage, offers educational activities, and fosters sustainable tourism for residents and visitors.
To keep alive and pass on one of the oldest traditions in northern Luxembourg: the “Trauliichter.”
From October 24 to November 4, 2026, at the Robbesscheier Nature Center, your role will be to lead workshops on making Trauliichter—traditional lanterns carved from beets—and to guide families and groups who come to experience this beautiful tradition.
Every year, this event welcomes several hundred visitors. Beyond making Trauliichter, you’ll help keep this ancient tradition—which predates Halloween—alive and pass it on by sharing its history and origins.
You’ll also help welcome visitors, answer their questions, and contribute to creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. You’ll have the opportunity to offer scary face painting to children and help make the event a success, ensuring that both kids and adults have a wonderful time and an unforgettable experience.
