Special Olympics Luxembourg is looking for volunteer coaches to support its athletes during training sessions.
Your role will primarily be to be there for them: supporting them during sessions, encouraging them, helping them improve, and building their confidence. Everyone progresses at their own pace, and that’s exactly what makes this role so rewarding.
We’re looking for patient, caring people who are comfortable interacting with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Experience in sports is a plus, and depending on the sport, certain knowledge or qualifications may be required.
What you’ll do: • support the athletes during training sessions; • encourage and support them as they progress; • contribute to a positive and friendly atmosphere; • collaborate with other coaches and volunteers; • potentially accompany the athletes to competitions or events
