Chaîne de l'Espoir Luxembourg
ONG luxembourgeoise offrant soins spécialisés, missions chirurgicales et soutien hospitalier aux enfants défavorisés.
Chaîne de l'Espoir Luxembourg is seeking volunteer healthcare professionals to participate in pediatric surgery missions abroad, in Jordan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Cape Verde.
Founded in 2016, Chaîne de l’Espoir Luxembourg (CDEL) is dedicated to providing high-quality specialized medical care to children from underprivileged countries.
Each year, several medical and surgical missions abroad enable the organization to provide consultations and perform surgeries on a volunteer basis for dozens of children suffering from orthopedic, cardiac, ENT, or other conditions. The association’s work is complemented by welcoming to Luxembourg children who cannot undergo surgery in their home countries and whose medical care requires treatment lasting several weeks or even months. La Chaîne de l’Espoir Luxembourg also provides active support to partner hospitals by supplying medical equipment and participating in staff training during its missions and through telemedicine.
We regularly seek medical personnel specializing in pediatrics to join us on pediatric surgery missions abroad (Jordan, DRC, Cape Verde). Missions last up to 7 days.
We are seeking a variety of medical volunteers:
- Anesthesiologists
- Surgeons: orthopedics; urology; cardiology; ENT; dentistry
- Pediatricians
- Radiologists
- Dentists
- Nurses
- Physical therapists
Volunteers may be eligible for a cooperation leave of absence from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Chaîne de l'Espoir Luxembourg covers airfare, hotel accommodations, and insurance.
