The Agence du Bénévolat launches a new recommendation algorithm on its platform benevolat.lu that connects volunteer helpers and associations more effectively.
Luxembourg, 28. May 2026 – The Agence du Bénévolat is taking an important step forward in promoting civic engagement with the latest evolution of its platform benevolat.lu. Already a key resource for connecting volunteer helpers with associations, the site now integrates an intelligent matching algorithm that recommends suitable volunteer missions based on users’ interests, skills, availability and preferred type of engagement.
This new feature brings fresh momentum to Luxembourg’s associative landscape. With personalised suggestions, people looking to get involved can more easily identify missions that truly match what they are seeking. This increases the likelihood that they will quickly find a meaningful activity and take the initiative to offer their support.
With more than 130 volunteer missions currently online, spanning areas such as social support, culture, sports, environment, board governance and many more, benevolat.lu becomes an even more effective tool for guiding individuals toward purposeful engagement.
Associations also benefit significantly: the algorithm helps them connect with volunteer helpers whose profiles better match the missions they offer, improving the relevance of matches and the overall quality of volunteer involvement.
With this new functionality, benevolat.lu reinforces its role as a central platform linking committed citizens with associations and other entities working with volunteers, while making the search for volunteer missions simpler, more targeted and more personalised.
