Removal of invasive plants at Naturpark Our – Partners Group
After the success of last year’s pilot project, the Naturpark Our once again welcomed teams from a company engaged in corporate volunteering this year. In June 2026, 15 employees of Partners Group, divided into two groups, actively supported the removal of Himalayan balsam, an invasive plant with a strong capacity for spread that threatens biodiversity by displacing native species. The plants pulled out by the teams were subsequently processed and reused as biomass.

Corporate Volunteering at the natur&ëmwelt asbl’s “Fest vun der Natur” - Vantage Data Centers
Held every June in Kockelscheuer, the Fest vun der Natur, organised by natur&ëmwelt asbl, is a family event celebrating nature, biodiversity and sustainability. With around 40 stands, it attracts between 1,500 and 2,000 visitors each year. This year, the association received support from three companies, with around 35 employee volunteers, who were placed through the Agence du Bénévolat as part of its corporate volunteering programme. Several teams helped with the event preparations, including setting up and dismantling the infrastructure. Employees were released from their regular work duties during working hours to volunteer and were guided on site by the asbl’s staff, which thanked each volunteer with a small gift.

Set-up & Dismantling of the Francofolies 2026, FrEsch asbl
Held every second weekend in June, the Francofolies is a major festival featuring over 50 concerts by French-speaking artists in Esch-sur-Alzette. This year, FrEsch asbl, which is responsible for organising the festival, received support from several teams from different companies, brought together by the Agence du Bénévolat as part of its corporate volunteering programme. Corporate volunteers took part in construction workshops, the setting up and dismantling of the infrastructure, as well as various other tasks throughout the festival.
