We are the volleyball club from Diekirch. We aim to promote and develop our sport while providing our members with a place to practise volleyball, meet new people, have fun, and experience the spirit of club life.

Presentation of our organisation

Our club has approximately 150 members. Our first men's team competes in the highest division and ranks among the four best teams in the country. We also have a second and third men's team, as well as a first and second women's team, which compete in the first and third divisions, respectively.

In addition, we have five youth teams for children and teenagers aged 8 to 16.

We also have our “Wolfies” group, where children aged 5 to 8 can discover volleyball in a fun and playful way.

Finally, we have a recreational team that meets once a week to play together in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Our next event

For the rest of this year and next year, we have several events coming up where we could use a helping hand:

18–20 December 2026: Diekirch Christmas Market – catering
27 December 2026: X-Mas Tournament in Diekirch – catering
7 February 2027: Ticket sales for the Cavalcade
4–5 June 2027: Waffle stand at Cactus
… and many more activities!

These are just a few examples of the events you can get involved in. Every helping hand counts, and we truly appreciate any support, even if you can only volunteer for a single event!

We’re also looking for motivated people to join our committee and help strengthen the team.

We meet once a month, and everyone can get involved in an area that suits their interests and skills: looking after the teams, organising match schedules, handling administration or finances, organising events, managing social media… There are plenty of different ways to contribute!

You don’t need to be a volleyball expert or even know much about the sport. All you need is a desire to get involved in club life and be part of a great team. The rest will come naturally!

Personally, I’ve been part of the committee for three years. Before joining, I knew practically nothing about volleyball, but I wanted to volunteer and contribute to the community, so I decided to give it a go. And I haven’t regretted it! 😊

We’d love to welcome some new faces to our committee! So, if you’d like to get involved in club life, share some great moments with others, and help our club grow, don’t hesitate to join us. Every bit of help is appreciated!
