Our club project is the "Spaghettisfest", held for 40 years, promoting community, sustainability with regional products, and "Green Events."
The Eppelduerfer a.s.b.l. is a dynamic and active community based in Eppelduerf, Luxembourg. Originally founded in 1964 under the name "Eppelduerfer Jugend," the association was renamed in December 2023. It sees itself as an open community that caters to young people from all over Luxembourg.
The association is well-known for regularly organizing meetings and traditional events, including the widely recognized Spaghettisfest, which boasts a history of over 40 years. Furthermore, Eppelduerfer a.s.b.l. also organizes Welan.lu, one of the largest LAN parties in Luxembourg, held annually.
The core objective of the association is to provide a stable home for this community, foster its development, and facilitate access and integration for new members. The dedicated board members work tirelessly behind the scenes, taking responsibility for the organization and ensuring that the association and its activities run smoothly. Their work is fundamentally important for the continued existence and success of the association.
In addition to its events, the association also offers material for rent, such as a large event tent or an industrial dishwasher.
Our Next Event: Spaghetti's Fest (English)
Our next big event, which we're already really looking forward to, is the traditional Spaghettisfest, held annually on August 15th.
This festival is the heart of our community and boasts a history of over 40 years. It's a permanent fixture in our club life and attracts numerous visitors every year. The popularity of the festival is also evident in the impressive figures: In 2024, we proudly sold 1167 portions of spaghetti in just one day! The Spaghetti's Fest is more than just a culinary event; it's a place for coming together, where we foster community and uphold our traditions. We serve large portions of spaghetti with various sauces, accompanied by local wines, cocktails, and beer, all with a focus on sustainability and regional products as a "Green Events."
