GAIALUX contributes to the Ecological Transition in Luxembourg by promoting educational resources, and engaging students and citizens on the critical climate change issues.
GaiaLux aims to raise awareness and develop community actions to advance the Ecological Transition Agenda, with a particular focus on Luxembourg and the Greater Region.
Our conceptual framework is the Agenda 2030, which brings together the three pillars of social, economic and ecological sustainability.
The main objective is to develop educational resources, facilitate dialogue and communication, and promote awareness-raising activities on sustainability issues among students, school staff, teachers, citizens, institutions and public and private companies, in order to foster a cultural shift towards an egalitarian, inclusive and ‘green’ society.
GaiaLux adopts the vision of a single interconnected family, which forces us to question our traditional scientific and cultural mindset and to use an interdisciplinary methodology.
Fundamentally, we envisage a profound rethinking of our relationship with nature and other human beings, within the framework of a single Oikos that must be preserved for future generations and must create equal opportunities and a good quality of life for all.
Gaialux in this moment is developing the project I.D.E.E. " Imaginez la durabilité Ecosocial Ensemble": representing SDGs through arts, promoting workshops and atelier d'art for students, creating events to disseminate the SDGs in a creative way, developing creative educational resources (flashcards, interactive activities, games).
