The association's aim is to teach and practice music, as well as to promote and develop cultural life. We offer musical practice within our youth orchestra (starting from the 2nd year of playing a wind instrument) and the wind orchestra (after having spent a few years in the youth orchestra).
Everyone is welcome to join us if they want to play music. This also applies to those who want to support us without playing an instrument, but with their skills: in the association and in the committee.
You play a wind or percussion instrument but are not yet part of an orchestra or music band?
Then come join us to strengthen our ranks and spend musical and social moments with us.
When?
Friday evening from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM: Moutferte Musikanner (Youth Orchestra).
Friday evening from 7:45 PM to 9:30 PM: Harmonie Moutfort-Medingen (Wind Orchestra).
Wind instruments: Flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, horn, trombone, baritone-euphonium, tuba (bass), percussion.
You don’t play an instrument but want to be part of a lively association?
We are also happy to have any volunteers who assist us behind the scenes, for example, behind the counter at concerts, with setup and teardown, during the "Hämmelsmarsch," and at other association activities.
We look forward to seeing anyone who actively participates in the life of our association.
