We are organizing a day under the motto 'Fun, Play, and Sports for Everyone' on Monday, June 9, 2025. In addition to a children's run and a 5 km run, there will be a main run (10 km), for which we need/are looking for volunteers to act as course marshals

Presentation of our organisation

Our association is LowPointRun Asbl, a group consisting of 11 volunteer idealists who want to organize a sporting event combined with a kind of family festival at the 'Spatz' in Wasserbillig, the lowest point of our country. We are supported by the municipality of Mertert as well as local associations that take care of food and drinks. LowPointRun Asbl is responsible for organizing this event.

Our next event

Under the motto 'Sports, Fun for Young and Old, Big and Small,' the Sports Commission of the Municipality of Mertert is organizing a beautiful family day with sporting activities on Monday, June 9, 2025, for the first time, at the 'Spatz' in Wasserbillig, the lowest point of the country.

Three different races will take place on this day: a children's race of about 400 meters, as well as a 5 km and 10 km race. The start and finish of the races will be at the 'Spatz,' hence the name LowPointRun. To make this wonderful event a success, we need your help.

Volunteers are the heart of the event, as they stand as signposts along the route and ensure that the race runs smoothly. Your task will be to direct the runners and cheer them on for two hours.
