The Sporting Club Belvaux promotes gymnastics, sport for all, team spirit, and local community life.
The Sporting Club Belvaux is a sports and gymnastics club based in Belvaux, in the municipality of Sanem, Luxembourg. Active for many years in local community life, the club offers sports activities for all ages and skill levels, ranging from children’s initiation classes to recreational and competitive gymnastics.
Through its various sections, the SCB promotes athletic development, team spirit, respect, and a friendly community atmosphere. The club regularly participates in national competitions organised under the supervision of the FLGym and is actively involved in organising sporting and community events, contributing to the promotion of sport and associative life in Luxembourg.
The Section Championships of the FLGym are among the major annual gymnastics events in Luxembourg. This team competition (“sections”) brings together clubs from across the country and highlights team spirit, technical precision, and collective performance.
This year, the event is organised by the Sporting Club Belvaux. The men’s competitions will take place on June 13 at Gymnikuss, while the women’s competitions will be held on June 13 and 14 at Sportikuss. Throughout the weekend, several hundred gymnasts, coaches, volunteers, and spectators are expected in a friendly and sportive atmosphere.
Beyond the competition itself, the event also represents an important moment for local community life and actively contributes to the promotion of gymnastics in Luxembourg.
