Takiwatanga ASBL is a Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation dedicated to creating inclusive, accessible and welcoming opportunities for children and young people with additional needs or disabilities, together with their families and loved ones.
Through adapted cultural, recreational and community events, we aim to remove barriers, reduce social isolation and create safe, judgement-free spaces where everyone can participate, express themselves and feel that they belong. We work with families, volunteers and local partners to make everyday experiences more accessible and inclusive.
Our next event is an adapted screening of The Lion King, taking place on Tuesday, 29 September 2026 at 17:30 at the Cinema du Centre Polyvalent in Oberanven.
Designed for children and young people with additional needs or disabilities and their families, the screening will feature reduced sound, low lighting, no trailers, freedom of movement, and freedom to make noise and express oneself. It will be a welcoming, judgement-free environment where everyone can enjoy the cinema in their own way.
