To support and assist the team responsible for presenting the ‘Mémoire en Fil’ exhibition at Vienna Design Week 2026 and to contribute to its success by providing logistical support and hospitality: driving the van, loading and unloading equipment and artworks, welcoming visitors during the exhibition, and assisting with set-up and dismantling.
The non-profit organisation TATIANA BIFOURI, ARTS & TEXTILES is looking for a reliable, sociable and committed volunteer with good communication skills to assist its manager in Vienna during Vienna Design Week, from 25 September to 4 October 2026. The volunteer will assist with logistics (loading and unloading, setting up and dismantling), the installation and welcoming the public throughout the event.
Their duties will include: driving a van between Luxembourg and Vienna, as well as for any necessary journeys on site; loading and unloading equipment; assisting with the assembly and dismantling of the installation; welcoming and guiding the public at the exhibition venue; communicating with visitors in French, German and English; keeping records of visitor numbers at the exhibition; assisting the programme manager with the various tasks required to ensure the smooth running of the assignment. The successful candidate must: hold a valid driving licence; be able to drive a van over long distances; be able to assist with loading, unloading, setting up and dismantling; be fluent in French, German and English; be comfortable welcoming members of the public; be available for the entire duration of the journey and stay; be reliable, organised, independent and attentive.
The non-profit organisation will cover: return travel between Luxembourg and Vienna; necessary travel expenses whilst in Vienna; accommodation, in the form of shared accommodation with the programme manager; food expenses up to 50 euros per day for the duration of the stay.
