Dear animal lovers,
Did you know that many domestic hamsters are *abandoned, mistreated or neglected* every year? Faced with this reality,
Hamster.lu asbl works tirelessly to provide them with care, safety and a second chance. To continue our mission, we need your help!
Our specific tasks:
✅ *Hamster care*:
- Cleaning the enclosures in our temporary shelter.
- Socialising the hamsters (gentle handling, games).
- Assisting with basic veterinary care.
✅ *Awareness & Adoption*:
- Running educational stands (fairs, schools, pet shops).
- Advising adopters on the specific needs of hamsters (food, space, enrichment).
- Organising responsible adoption events.
✅ *Logistical & creative support*:
- Making enrichment items (tunnels, safe toys).
- Managing social media, photos of hamsters up for adoption.
- Administrative or translation assistance (FR/LU/DE/EN).
