Modernize the shelter's operations using simple digital tools to make it easier to track animals, volunteers, and activities.
SEPA asbl aims to gradually modernize and digitize the management of its animal shelter in Esch-sur-Alzette. Currently, a significant portion of our information and processes is still managed on paper or through various separate files and media. We aim to establish a more structured digital system and, ultimately, have a centralized IT system and a database tailored to the shelter’s needs. The project could specifically involve tracking the animals at the shelter, their records and care, adoptions, dog walkers, volunteers, members, various administrative documents, as well as certain internal tasks and statistics. We are looking for someone with knowledge of IT, digitization, databases, or digital project management who can help us analyze our current processes, identify our needs, propose a suitable solution, and, to the extent possible, assist us in implementing it. We are open to both using and adapting existing tools and developing a custom solution if that proves to be the best approach. The primary goal is to create a system that is simple, reliable, scalable, and easy for our team to use on a daily basis.
To protect, shelter and care for abandoned or distressed animals, promote responsible adoption and raise awareness of animal welfare.
