Presentation of the opportunity for volunteering

🎯 Mission objective:
To assist in the creation or staging of outfits and accessories inspired by the world of haute couture, as part of a preparatory workshop for an artistic and creative fashion show.

📌 Context:
The workshop will take place on Sunday mornings between October 2025 and the end of January 2026, preceding a fashion show showcasing design, styling, stage performance and fashion as an art form. The main theme of this edition is:
✨ ‘Haute Couture – Elegance & Audacity’ ✨

🧵 Main tasks:
✅ Participate in the artistic preparation of the fashion show:
– Seek inspiration from haute couture (Chanel, Dior, Mugler, etc.)
– Develop silhouettes (sketches, mood boards, trials)
– Participate in the assembly or customisation of existing pieces
– Create accessories or couture details (embroidery, feathers, gilding, etc.)

✅ Work in collaboration with the artistic team:
– Collaborate with the models to adapt the outfits to their body types
– Ensure harmony between outfits, hairstyles, make-up and lighting
– Participate in fittings and the logistical organisation of the workshop

✅ Participate in the staging of the show:
– Think about the order of appearance, the visual rhythm and the artistic theme
– Support backstage coordination on the day

🕒 Duration and period:
– Assignment of 6 Sundays before the fashion show
– Date of the fashion show: 14/02/2026
– Frequency: 6 Sunday mornings from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Location: Hollerich Cultural Centre

👤 Required profile:
– Interest in fashion, sewing, styling or costume design
– Creativity, attention to detail, ability to work in a team
– Artistic flair, rigour and autonomy
– Open to volunteers, students, interns or enthusiasts
- Open to seamstresses with sewing machines or equipment to help students
