We are looking for volunteers to help us serve beneficiaries of the social café in downtown Luxembourg.
The *Bistrot Social “Uewerstadt”* is a daytime shelter located in the Upper Town of Luxembourg. At the Bistrot Social, clients find a place to rest, as well as meals, emergency clothing, showers, and restrooms. They have the opportunity to rebuild the trust that is often lost with social services. Social workers are on duty there and are available to listen to their specific needs.
The Bistrot Social is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
We are looking for volunteers to serve hot beverages (soups) and offer a warm welcome to the people who visit us.
