The Red Cross Youth helps young people between 15 and 30 years old to develop their own identity by helping others. This is possible in a comprehensive way through holiday stays, by becoming a support worker for children and young people, but also through projects.
The Luxembourg Red Cross Youth offers young people, from the age of 15, opportunities for voluntary work. In accordance with its principles and values, the Red Cross helps young people, together with the Red Cross Youth, to become committed citizens who actively participate in shaping their common way of life. The Red Cross youth camps are still one of the pillars of this.
The following offers are currently available:
- Holiday camps: young people can participate in holiday camps as helper leaders or as main leaders.
- Leader training: young people can participate in a training course, for example to become a leader.
- Projects: young people can start projects themselves or get involved in existing Red Cross Youth social projects.
- Actions: Young people can participate in different annual actions for the good opportunity.
