Association Luxembourgeoise pour le Dialogue Interculturel
Promote inclusion and youth participation through intercultural learning, non-formal education, volunteering and active citizenship.
Help with the layout of a book on Luxembourgish traditions as part of the Kultur Mosaik Lëtzebuerg project, with the goal of presenting the content in a clear, structured, and appealing way.
As part of the Kultur Mosaik Lëtzebuerg project, the Luxembourg Association for Intercultural Dialogue (ALDIC) is currently creating a book dedicated to Luxembourgish traditions. The book will bring together stories and personal accounts to highlight and pass on these traditions, particularly those that are less well-known or are primarily passed down orally.
ALDIC is seeking 1 to 2 volunteers to contribute primarily to the book’s layout and visual design.
The role will involve working on the book’s structure and layout: organizing the text, titles, and subtitles; placing images and graphic elements; selecting and ensuring consistency in typography; managing white space; and prioritizing information.
Volunteers will also be able to suggest improvements to ensure the book’s layout is clear, readable, attractive, and consistent, while highlighting the stories and testimonials featured within.
A brief presentation of the project, the book’s content, and existing materials will be held at the start of the assignment. Volunteers will then collaborate closely with the ALDIC team to discuss and refine the layout proposals.
This work can be done in person or remotely, depending on the availability and preferences of those interested.
