Objective of the mission

Do you live in Mersch? We are collecting memories, anecdotes, and experiences for a sound installation that will be exhibited later this year. Share your memories of Mersch in your own language. The project will be presented at the Bis am Bus festival (6–7 December). (Recordings of the stories on 17–18 October in Mersch.)

Do you live in Mersch, or have you lived here in the past? We are collecting personal stories, memories, and experiences from both longtime and new residents of Mersch.
Your story (in your own language if you wish) will be recorded and will then become part of a collective audio installation, presented at the Bis am Bus Festival on 6–7 December 2025.

Mir wëllen iech Ons Heemecht weisen (we want to show you our homeland) is a Luxembourgish grassroots NGO that fosters intercultural dialogue between local residents and refugees. We create informal moments of exchange through intercultural events and workshops for refugees to get to know locals and vice versa.
