Presentation of the opportunity for volunteering

ACAT Luxembourg (Action des Chrétiens pour l'Abolition de la Torture) works to end torture and the death penalty worldwide and to defend human rights. We're looking for volunteers to join us on a flexible, as-needed basis, roughly once a month, for actions like protests, talks, cultural events, fundraising, and outreach. You might help organize a feminist and book-related event with the City of Esch and the Bibliothèque de Bonnevoie, support an activity for mothers, contribute to our project bringing writing workshops to women in Luxembourgish prisons, or take part in handicraft sessions with people experiencing homelessness in Bonnevoie. We're also building bridges with other religious and human rights organizations in Luxembourg, and we welcome volunteers who want to propose and lead their own initiatives. Through our international network, we use Luxembourg's voice, its embassies, its weight in the EU Parliament, and its citizens' privileged access, to advocate for a world free of torture and the death penalty.
