Les Enfants d'Alice
L'Association a pour objet d'œuvrer pour le développement socioculturel, l’épanouissement et le bien-être des enfants, par des actions sociales et de solidarité, afin de protéger leur avenir.
As volunteers, you will first be trained in scientific mediation during the month of October 2024. You will then be asked to run workshops on citizenship education and living together through scientific and fun activities with children, teenagers and young people.
We are looking for volunteers who are trained in scientific mediation to run workshops in schools and in the Maisons Relais. This mission is part of a project called ‘Living together while being all different’ with the support of the André Losch Foundation, summarised below:
The ‘Living together while being all different’ project was launched by the organisation's management on the basis of :
- informal assessments with the of various departments on the great need for education and awareness-raising activities around the social issues of living together and,
- the general willingness to support the current government initiative to promote intercultural learning and dialogue at local level.
- the recommendations of the study on racism and ethno-racial discrimination, which include the need to create common spaces that promote diversity and intercultural learning in order to combat racism, stereotypes and prejudice and promote equal treatment.
- the multicultural nature of Luxembourg's population, which justifies the need to build the capacities of young people in particular, on the importance of living together.
The aim of our project is therefore to strengthen the ability of children and young people to act as multipliers and players in living together in Luxembourg, at local level.
The project contributes directly to the implementation of the recommended solutions
