Info-Handicap - Conseil national des personnes handicapées
Info-Handicap – National Council for People with Disabilities is the central point of contact and national council for people with disabilities.
To provide a welcoming and informative presence at the official stands of Info-Handicap – the National Council for People with Disabilities – during events (exhibitions, fairs, institutional events or events aimed at the general public).
Regular mission
The role involves manning a stand by welcoming visitors, answering their questions and presenting the organisation’s activities, projects and services in a clear and accessible manner.
Volunteers help to convey a positive, professional and inclusive image of the organisation, thereby playing an active part in raising its profile amongst the general public.
Following an initial training session, each assignment is preceded by a preparatory meeting to outline the context of the event, clarify the expected roles and provide the information needed to ensure the assignment runs smoothly.
Every volunteer must take part in an ‘onboarding’ process to ensure they are familiar with the organisation’s work, vision and values, and to guarantee their commitment to the inclusive approach underpinning Info-Handicap’s projects.
