We're looking for volunteers to support adults in learning for vocational studies (DT-DAP- CCP) and university studies: maths, health, IT. These are residents of a refugee hostel in Esch-Neudorf. Hours to be agreed.
Regular mission
Volunteering is done in pairs or small groups (2 participants) to ensure close contact between volunteer and beneficiary and good results. We offer guidance and an introduction by the hostel manager.
Volunteering is the free and unpaid commitment of people who act on behalf of others or for the collective interest, in a structure that goes beyond simple family or friendly mutual aid. A volunteer is someone who commits him/herself, of his/her own free will, without receiving remuneration in the monetary sense of the term, to an action in the service of a third party or the community. The Fondation Caritas Luxembourg takes out accident and civil liability insurance.
