Join the Franco'family for a weekend or a week to experience a great music festival from the inside! Good humour is the order of the day, between the public, the teams and the artists. The volunteers make the festival possible and shape it in their own image!
Dates and times for 2023:
Assembly: from 3 to 8 June, for a morning, an afternoon, an evening or the whole day!
Festival: from 9 to 11 June on the Gaalgebierg site, for a duration of 4 to 6 hours per day.
Dismantling: from 12 to 14 June
Volunteer briefing: Thursday 8 June at 6.30 pm on site
Commitment :
It is 4h to 6h of mission per day, and we favour volunteers who are present for 2 to 3 days at least. Attendance at the briefing on Thursday is more than desirable, otherwise you will have to arrive half an hour early (so 1 hour in total) on the day of your mission for the briefing. Depending on the mission times you have chosen, you should arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of your mission. All the details will be sent to you afterwards.
Before, between or after your missions, you are free to enjoy the festival and set the mood in front of the stage or enjoy the volunteer area to relax!
The missions :
Reception of the public: sale of tickets, scanning of tickets, handing out of wristbands, deposit, loading of cashless wristbands...
Accessibility: information and redirection of festival-goers, help for people with reduced mobility, management of vibrating waistcoats for the deaf and hard of hearing, parking management, green brigade, photobooth animation...
Bar: service and sale of drinks and ice creams at the various bars, cleaning of eco-cups, restocking of drinks...
Set-up and dismantling: helping the teams to set up the various stage elements, structures, tents, decorations, communication...

Free access to the festival on mission days, welcome pack, catering provided (food and drinks).
Profile required:
Motivated people, interested in arts and festivals, with easy human contact, fluent in French and/or English (Luxembourgish is not essential, we can integrate some people who speak neither French nor English, do not hesitate to contact us). Minimum age: 16 years.
Les Francofolies Esch/Alzette ont lieu chaque année le deuxième weekend de juin. En 2024, les concerts dans le cadre du festival auront lieu à la Kulturfabrik, au Escher Theater et sur le site principal : le Parc Gaalgebierg. Plus d'une cinquantaine d'artistes "francophiles" se succèderont sur les différentes scènes.
