We need volunteers for our “Colors of Africa” parades at the daycare centers in Redange and Beckerich.
The goal of this project is to combat discrimination, celebrate the richness of African cultures, build children’s self-confidence, and raise awareness about upcycling through sustainable fashion.
To ensure the success of this event, several key tasks were carried out:
👗 Assistance with selecting clothing and accessories
💄 Applying makeup for the children
💇♀️ Styling the children’s hair
🎭 Coordinating the fashion show and setting up the choreography
🎨 Decorating the venue
📦 Organizing and tidying up before and after the event
More than just a fashion show, this initiative allowed the children to express themselves, discover the richness of their heritage, build their confidence, and proudly uphold the values of respect, diversity, and solidarity.
