Assist people in vulnerable situations with their administrative procedures and outside appointments.
Main Responsibilities
• Logistical and emotional support: o Accompany patients—who are often in vulnerable situations—to their outside medical appointments (hospitals, specialists, etc.). o Provide caring and reassuring support during travel and while waiting • Practical assistance: o Help patients understand and follow instructions (locations, schedules) o Facilitate communication with healthcare professionals as needed (informal translation, simple rephrasing) o Report any difficulties encountered (e.g., access to care) to the MDM team • Compliance with protocols: o Adhere to confidentiality rules, professional secrecy, and respect for patients’ dignity. o Follow safety guidelines (e.g., health protocols) • Feedback: o Report on support activities to the MDM team to improve the program.
Required skills and qualities: • Empathy and active listening: Ability to build trust with people in vulnerable situations. • Organizational skills: Punctuality and thoroughness in managing schedules and travel itineraries. • Adaptability: Ability to respond quickly to unforeseen circumstances (delays, appointment changes, etc.) • Discretion: Strict respect for privacy and personal data • Language skills: French, Luxembourgish, English, German, Portuguese, or other languages (a major asset for communicating with non-French-speaking patients) • Knowledge of the Luxembourg healthcare system (a plus but not required). • Class B driver’s license (not required)

Any other language is a plus
