Are you ready to be part of one of Luxembourg’s most vibrant and joyful cultural celebrations?
The annual Lux Soca Fusion Caribbean Carnival is coming to Place Guillaume II on July 20, 2025, and we need enthusiastic volunteers to help make this event a spectacular success! The carnival has two parts a street parade and the carnival village set up at Place Guillaume II
Join us for a day filled with music, color, and community spirit while gaining valuable experience and making new friends.
We are seeking volunteers to support various roles in both the Street Parade and the Carnival Village.
Whether you’re passionate about event management, hospitality, safety, or social media, there’s a place for you on our team!
Street Parade Volunteer Roles
Parade Marshals : Guide and manage the parade route, ensuring safety and smooth flow of the procession.
Safety Coordinators : Oversee safety protocols and respond to any incidents along the parade route.
Snack & Water Distribution Team : Provide refreshments to participants along the parade route.
Traffic Control Volunteers : Manage road closures and direct vehicles to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.
Carnival Village Volunteer Roles
Entrance Gate Staff : Manage entry points, check tickets, and ensure crowd control within the village.
Food Stand Volunteers : Assist food vendors and help serve delicious Caribbean cuisine.
Drinks Stand Volunteers : Serve beverages and assist at the drinks stands.
Information Booth Volunteers : Provide information and assistance to guests.
Hospitality Volunteers: Welcome guests, provide directions, and answer questions about the event.
Event Ambassadors: Act as the face of the event, engaging with attendees and promoting a positive atmosphere.
Logistics Crew : Assist with setup, takedown, and transporting materials within the village.
Setup & Takedown Team: Help prepare the site before the event and pack up afterward.
Social Media Management Volunteers: Capture photos and videos, post updates, and engage with our online community.
Harm Reduction Rovers: Promote safety and well-being among attendees.
Clean-Up Crew : Ensure the village and parade route are clean during and after the event.
