Objective of the mission

Some older people experience difficulties with digital technologies. Digital Doheem aims to support them in their daily lives, directly in their own homes. The objectives are: to help older people use essential digital tools (smartphones or tablets), to explain how to use these tools safely and securely.

Presentation of the opportunity for volunteering

Digital Doheem is a project carried out by Stëftung Hëllef Doheem in collaboration with the non-profit organisation GoldenMe. The project helps older people learn how to use digital tools such as smartphones and tablets.

The support is provided at home and in a personalised way.

The project is part of the National Digital Inclusion Plan 2025 and is funded by the Ministry of Digitalisation.

Volunteer requirements:

Volunteers must be able to speak at least one of the country’s official languages (Luxembourgish / French / German).

Mandatory requirement: availability on 17 March 2026 to attend a compulsory training session.

The mission will take place from March to May 2026.

Volunteers must be able to travel to seniors’ homes independently (private car or public transport).
