About the Youth Red Cross The Youth Red Cross is a platform for young people ages 15 to 30 who want to volunteer and play an active role in building a more compassionate society. Through a variety of projects, activities, and assignments, young people develop their skills, meet other engaged individuals, and make a tangible contribution to the well-being of their community. Assignment Dates August 29, 2026–August 30, 2026 (flexible dates) Two-day assignment: Day 1: Travel from Luxembourg to Wehe-den Hoorn (Netherlands) Day 2: Return to Luxembourg Assignment Description As part of its youth programs, the Youth Red Cross is organizing a trip to Wehe-den Hoorn in the Netherlands. To enable the planned water sports activities to take place, we need to transport several kayaks from Luxembourg. We are therefore looking for 1 to 2 volunteers to transport a trailer loaded with kayaks to the activity site. The trip will be made using a utility vehicle provided by the Red Cross. One overnight stay is planned before returning to Luxembourg the following day. Tasks Drive the utility vehicle and the kayak trailer to Wehe-den Hoorn. Ensure the safe transport of the equipment. Qualifications Hold a valid driver’s license authorizing you to drive the vehicle and trailer provided (Class B + B96 license). Be comfortable with long-distance trips and driving with a trailer.
