The Luxembourg Caribbean Carnival Association is a cultural organization dedicated to celebrating and promoting Caribbean heritage in Luxembourg. Their flagship project is the annual Lux Soca Fusion Caribbean Carnival, a vibrant event that brings the energy and traditions of Caribbean carnival to the heart of Luxembourg City.

Presentation of our organisation

The Luxembourg Caribbean Carnival Association is a cultural organization dedicated to celebrating and promoting Caribbean heritage in Luxembourg. Central to this mission is their flagship project, the annual Lux Soca Fusion Caribbean Carnival, which will be held on 20 July 2025 at Place Guillaume II in Luxembourg City. This vibrant event brings the energy and traditions of Caribbean carnival to the heart of Luxembourg, featuring a lively street parade with colorful costumes, infectious soca rhythms, and a festive carnival village.

The association’s mission is to foster cultural exchange, unity, and diversity by showcasing Caribbean music, dance, cuisine, and art. They organize a range of events, including boat parties, themed gatherings, and workshops such as costume building and soca dance classes, with plans for a steel pan workshop in the future. The association also actively promotes local emerging artists and supports Caribbean islands adversely impacted by natural disasters.

In addition to these activities, the association has hosted a symposium focusing on diversity and the role of carnival, further emphasizing their commitment to inclusivity. All are welcome to join the organization, as they strive to create a space where everyone can celebrate and share in the richness of Caribbean culture.

By creating inclusive, joyful experiences, the Luxembourg Caribbean Carnival Association aims to build bridges between communities and share the warmth and creativity of the Caribbean with Luxembourg and beyond.
