Our mission to provide guidance and support will enable you to discover the world of disability or gain a deeper understanding of it.
Purpose of the role You offer families something very valuable: time. Time to take a breath – whether it’s for an hour to run errands, go to the cinema, attend an appointment, or spend time with another child.
To provide a welcoming and informative presence at the official stands of Info-Handicap – the National Council for People with Disabilities – during events (exhibitions, fairs, institutional events or events aimed at the general public).
- Provide financial support for activities - Build long-term partnerships - Promote the project and/or the organisation - Showcase sponsors The role involves engaging financial and strategic partners to support and develop the organisation’s activities, whilst highlighting its values and impact.
Volunteering allows people to find meaning in their commitment, share their values, build relationships, and contribute to the common good.
Provide support for events organized by Info Handicap – National Council for People with Disabilities.
Supporting people with disabilities in using public transportation independently and safely.
Teaching French classes for adults to promote their independence and integration. The volunteer supports participants’ oral and written language learning in a friendly environment tailored to their needs.
