The local Fairtrade Action Group is looking for motivated volunteers to staff the Fairtrade booth at the Cittaslow Bio Day in Clervaux, a friendly and community-oriented event taking place on Saturday, September 26, in downtown Clervaux.
As a volunteer, you’ll help run an engaging and fun Fairtrade booth:
Before and during the event
• Set up the booth and display Fairtrade signage
• Arrange brochures, flyers, and Fairtrade products
• Supervise an interactive Fairtrade game for children
• Offer visitors samples of Fairtrade products
Various types of chocolate, fair trade juices, and other treats depending on availability
• Make Fairtrade smoothies (a very popular activity!)
• Participate in other activities scheduled in the program
• Greet visitors with a smile and answer their questions
• Raise awareness about fair trade in a simple and accessible way
Desired volunteer profile:
You’re the ideal candidate if you:
• Have a ready smile
• Enjoy interacting with people
• Have good interpersonal skills, even if just a little
• Want to support and promote Fairtrade
• Enjoy participating in friendly and engaging events
Saturday, September 26; availability requested from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
Your help, even if just for a short time, is invaluable: just one or two hours is enough to make a real difference. Schedules can be adjusted to fit your availability.
