Chaîne de l'Espoir Luxembourg
ONG luxembourgeoise offrant soins spécialisés, missions chirurgicales et soutien hospitalier aux enfants défavorisés.
Every year, Chaîne de l'Espoir Luxembourg welcomes several children to Luxembourg who cannot undergo surgery in their home countries. We are regularly looking for host families who can care for these sick children from the time they arrive in Luxembourg until they return to their home countries.
The host family must be available full-time for a period of 1 to 3 months, depending on the length of the child’s recovery. You must have enough space to accommodate the child in comfortable conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Meet the child upon arrival at the airport and take them back on the day of departure
- Support the child on a daily basis during their stay
- Take the child to medical appointments, their surgery, and post-operative follow-ups
Chaîne de l'Espoir Luxembourg is in constant contact with the family. Depending on the country of origin, we need families who speak Arabic, Portuguese, French, or English.
We organize an initial interview with interested families at our offices.
A clean criminal record must be provided. A host family agreement must be signed.
