The aim of the summer workshops ☀️ is to give participants the chance to practise the local languages 🇫🇷🇱🇺🇬🇧 whilst meeting new people. The lessons are delivered in an informal and fun way by our team of dedicated volunteers, who do not necessarily have prior teaching experience.
👉 We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to run informal language classes in French 🇫🇷, English 🇬🇧 or Luxembourgish 🇱🇺 for people living in exile in Luxembourg.
For the past 10 years, Passerell has been organising these ‘summer workshops’, offering free language classes from Monday to Thursday afternoons between 1.30 pm and 5 pm in Luxembourg City, as well as cultural and sporting outings on Fridays for around 100 participants, all thanks to a team of volunteers.
In 2026, the summer workshops will take place from 🗓️ Monday 20 July to Friday 28 August. We ask our volunteers to commit to at least one full week of classes (4 afternoons).
