Fédération Luxembourgeoise d Escalade de Randonnée Sportive et d Alpinisme
As the Luxembourg climbing federation, our main objective is to promote climbing in Luxembourg and to make the sport accessible and safe for everyone.
On the occasion of Open Day 2025 at La Coque, FLERA wants to introduce climbing to the general public through interactive demonstrations, supervised introductions and educational exchanges. Volunteers are essential to make this day a success.
As part of the Open Day at La Coque on 28 September 2025, FLERA is committed to promoting climbing to the general public through a series of sporting, educational and interactive activities.
To ensure that the day runs smoothly, we need motivated and responsible volunteers to carry out the following tasks:
- Inform visitors about our sport, its benefits and the different ways it can be practised in Luxembourg.
- Assist in supervising climbing initiations, ensuring the safety of participants and accompanying them as they take their first steps on the wall. A climbing expert will always be on hand to help volunteers.
- Supervise demonstrations and guide the public around our space.
- Support the general organisation of the event: setting up equipment, welcoming visitors, logistics, crowd control, etc.
Volunteers will be ambassadors for the FLERA during the day. Their role is crucial in conveying our passion, ensuring a warm welcome and representing our federation in a positive light to the community.
To thank them for their commitment, each volunteer will receive a small token bonus or gift at the end of the day.
