Objective of the mission

Our sound library's mission is to facilitate access to literature and knowledge for people who are blind or visually impaired. In order to continue developing our collection, we are looking for committed volunteers who enjoy reading books aloud and thus contribute to an inclusive society.

Presentation of the opportunity for volunteering

Volunteer readers with:
- An enthusiasm for language and literature
- A clear, pleasant voice
- Close attention to texts
- Basic technical knowledge of recording equipment and laptops, or willingness to learn how to use them
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Your tasks:
- Read books, articles or other texts for our audio library.
- Record the texts read in a calm, professional environment.
- The sound recording must be created and edited in the OBI program.
- Compliance with quality standards, such as clear pronunciation and good sound quality.
