The Maison des Aînés Jousefshaus of Servior is setting up a committee to create a residents’ association and is looking for motivated people to take part on a voluntary basis.
Volunteering can take many forms, and participating in a committee of a residents’ association is a particularly important one. Such an association helps organise activities, represent residents’ interests, and strengthen the sense of community within the home.
With this goal in mind, the Maison des Aînés Jousefshaus of Servior is using the benevolat.lu platform to find members willing to get involved in creating their association committee.
Tom Müller, Chargé de direction of the Jousefshaus, is issuing a call to explain the importance of this committee and the missions it will carry: supporting volunteer initiatives, fostering social connections, proposing activities, and contributing to a warm and lively atmosphere for the residents.

Since 2002, the Agence du Bénévolat's mission has been to promote and develop volunteering in Luxembourg among organisations that call on volunteers, the general public and the public authorities.

In collaboration with associations and interested companies, the Agence du Bénévolat carried out several corporate volunteering pilot projects in 2025.
The Journée du Bénévolat 2025 highlighted the commitment of volunteer board members in associations. More than 350 guests attended, together with Their Royal Highnesses Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie, underlining the importance of volunteering.
The Agence du Bénévolat, with the support of the Ministry of Family, is launching the national campaign "Give this chair your voice!" to highlight an essential form of civic engagement: serving on the board of an association. 📽️ Discover the stories of the board members here!
The Agence du Bénévolat was delighted with the meeting held with Prime Minister Luc Frieden on Wednesday, 19 November, in the presence of four volunteers from our campaign "Dëst ass vill méi wéi just e Stull!".
