The Journée du Bénévolat 2025 highlighted the commitment of volunteer board members in associations. More than 350 guests attended, together with Their Royal Highnesses Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie, underlining the importance of volunteering.
Marc Thill, President of the Agence du Bénévolat, opened the evening by emphasising that volunteers are a pillar of social cohesion and called for more empathy and mutual respect. A highlight was the presentation of the Prix du Mérite du Bénévolat to Jacqueline De Valentin-Bourg for her long-standing dedication, presented by Their Royal Highnesses Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie.
