Animate information stands during various events (May 1st, migration festival, celebration of living together, etc., …) to inform and raise awareness of the general public about ASTI’s activities and the challenges of living together.
The project "practice a language online" was created for language learners to help them improve their vocabulary and gain confidence in expressing themselves orally.
Become a volunteer job coach. Help a person of migrant/refugee origin who is unfamiliar with our job market to find his or her bearings. Concretely, you'll help formulate a professional project, create CVs and cover letters, and role-play job interviews.

ASTI aims to defend the rights and interests of immigrants. Its proposals and demands in the field of schooling, equal rights, the fight against discrimination, the commitment with refugees and undocumented migrants are based on field work with children, young people and adults.
ASTI asbl or "Association de Support aux Travailleurs Immigrés " is a Luxembourg non-profit association that has been involved for almost 40 years in the field of the integration of foreigners and their participation in political life. It brings together nearly 500 members and employs about thirty people (not to mention the many volunteers).
Over the years, it has become an essential reference for civil society in Luxembourg and a "think tank" for all aspects related to integration. For some of its projects, it receives funding from the State, the European Union or other institutions. On the other hand, ASTI is dependent on donations (tax deductible) in order to safeguard its independence, it finances a large number of daily actions and all its political activity itself.
Our activities, very varied and all aiming at the integration and living together of all social strata in Luxembourg, range from political action to field work:
- We are committed to greater political participation of foreigners, we manage an information and advice counter, we offer direct oral translation services, the assistance of a public scribe and intercultural documentation;
- ASTI has launched several training projects for volunteers and refugees to facilitate their integration, especially linguistic or even professional, into Luxembourg society;
- ASTI also carries out significant outreach work in the Eich, Beggen, Weimerskirch and Dommeldange districts: relay houses, street-workers, meeting center for young people, community social work;
- We develop innovative projects in language learning: early learning of Luxembourgish and German languages, language coaching, conversation tables, etc.
But above all, ASTI is an organization bringing together committed people, working in teams and working groups and communicating in (almost) all the languages present in Luxembourg, and where you are welcome.
