The Agence du Bénévolat offers free training courses for organisations on setting up and running a non-profit organisation, and is extending its individual legal advice service to better meet the specific needs of people working in the field.
Our training courses (which are free of charge for organisations that have already been set up or are in the process of being set up) cover a variety of legal topics relating to the creation and management of a non-profit organisation, such as :
the steps involved in setting up a non-profit organisation,
drawing up the articles of association
legal obligations,
the liability of directors
rules of governance
relations with members and much more.
For more specific questions, we offer individual legal consultations, by telephone or in person, by appointment only. These one-to-one consultations are now available for a fee based on an hourly rate of €100.

Since 2002, the Agence du Bénévolat's mission has been to promote and develop volunteering in Luxembourg among organisations that call on volunteers, the general public and the public authorities.
The Journée du Bénévolat 2025 highlighted the commitment of volunteer board members in associations. More than 350 guests attended, together with Their Royal Highnesses Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie, underlining the importance of volunteering.
